With digital skills and knowledge driving the 21st century as a global currency, the Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria) – CPN, has been positioned to foster professionalism in the Nigerian Information Technology (IT) industry with core focus on advancing global competitiveness.
The above goals of the council was outlined during it’s annual CPN Media Executive Forum, which recently held at the Moremi Hall of Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja in Lagos state on the 7th of May, 2019.
Amongst other progressive deliberations, the council also highlighted plans for her forthcoming Information Technology Assembly tagged “Digital Infrastructure: Defining the Next Step”, scheduled to hold at the Nicon Luxury hotel, Abuja, from Wednesday 26th – Thursday 27th, June 2019.
The event is a strategic approach of the council to promote its mandate as an agency of the government under the Federal Ministry of Education, which has been charged with the regulation, control and supervision of the computing profession and practice in Nigeria.
The IT Assembly is designed to avail individuals and corporate organizations in direct or indirect IT practice with a national medium to discuss emerging issues in Information Technology and generate tangible recommendations that impact positively on the industry at the national level, with a global view.
